Anti-Flag haben mit „Coward In My Veins“ einen Song von ihrer kommenden B-Seiten-Compilation „Cease Fires“ online gestellt.

Invivo – Arise (Be True Music)

Angeblich gründete der Kölner Tourmanager Kirsten A. Schuck das Label Be True Music einzig und allein aus dem Grund heraus, um das Album „Arise“ von Invivo veröffentlichen zu können; da muss er also schon sehr überzeugt gewesen sein von der Qualität der Band. Die hatte die Scheibe bereits 2013 herausgebracht, allerdings in Eigenregie und damit weitgehend unter Ausschluss der Öffentlichkeit, was jetzt – zwei Jahre später – nochmal korrigiert werden soll.

Turbostaat: Abalonia-Video

Ende Januar erscheint das neue Turbostaat-Album „Abalonia“, bereits jetzt hat man das Video zum Titelsong online gestellt.

Der AV Club hat ein neues Video online gestellt, in dem Laura Stevenson den Song „Angel In The Snow“ von Elliot Smith covert.

Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes: Mehr Deutschland-Termine

Zurzeit bespielen Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes gemeinsam mit The Bronx die Clubs in Europa, für März 2016 hat die Band zwei Zusatztermine ihrer Blossom Tour bestätigt:

mewithoutYou: Wiederveröffentlichung von „Ten Stories“

mewithoutYou kündigen die Wiederveröffentlichung ihres 2012er Albums „Ten Stories“ an, das rechtzeitig zur kommenden Europatour am 22. Januar 2016 auf Big Scary Monsters / Alive in Deutschland erscheint. Auf dem Album ist übrigens auch Hayley Williams von Paramore zu hören, die auf „Fox's Dream of the Log Flume“ (siehe oben) und dem letzten Song des Albums, „All Circles“, singt.

Vinnie Caruana (The Movielife) bei Equal Vision Records

Vinnie Caruana, der vielen von I Am The Avalanche und The Movielife bekannt ist, hat bei Equal Vision Records unterschrieben und wird dort sein Solo-Debüt veröffentlichen. Derzeit nimmt er im Barber Shop Studio in Lake Hopatcong, NJ auf. Über die Platte sagt er:

“This album will be intensely personal. I’ve been writing it all year and stand firmly behind the statement that this is the best, most fully-formed songwriting I’ve ever created. Brett “The Ratt” Romnes – who produced the last two I Am The Avalanche records – will be manning the boards. We are recording at The Barber Shop Studios in Lake Hopatcong, NJ. The studio is on the shore of a lake, in a beautiful old stone church from the late 1800s that has been converted into a studio. I’ll be playing guitar and singing, The Ratt will play drums, Steve Choi (Rx Bandits, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Peace’d Out) will be contributing keys and guitars, and Kellen Robson (I Am The Avalanche, Pass Away) will be playing bass. But enough talk for now…it’s time to get in the studio so I can show the world what I’ve been working on.”
