Knuckle Puck präsentieren knapp 2 Wochen vor dem Release des neuen Albums "20/20“ mit „Earthquake" einen weiteren neuen Song. Der Schlagzeuger John Siorek kommentiert:
"The idea for the video was to encapsulate the feeling of driving around with your friends on a nice summer night, hanging out, and listening to a track you all like. 20/20 was supposed to come out in early summer, and we feel like the album, and this track specifically, have that kind of energy. So we wanted to visualize that."
New Found Glory haben eine Akustik-Version ihres Songs „Sonny“ online gestellt – im Original ist das Stück auf dem Album „Sticks And Stones“ zu finden.
Fear No Empire dürften den meisten noch unbekannt sein, für die Mitglieder gilt das allerdings nicht – dabei sind nämlich Ali Tabatabaee - Vocals (Zebrahead,) Ben Ozz - Bass (Zebrahead,) Dan Palmer - Guitar (Zebrahead, Death By Stereo,) und Mike Cambra - Drums (The Adolescents, Death by Stereo und Common War.) Die Debut EP kommt am 28. Oktober 2020, vorab steht schon mal der Song „Revolt“ online.
The Bouncing Souls sind auch noch da - und melden sich mit dem neuen Song "Ghosts On The Boardwalk".
Regisseur Damien D. Smith hat zum Dave Hause-Song “Your Ghost” einen Clip online gestellt – wie sie selbst sagen ein “snapshot of life in America in 2020”.
The Distillers kündigen für den 30. Oktober die Re-Issue ihres Debütalbums auf Epitaph an. Dabei wurden die Songs noch mal neu gemastert und erscheinen sowohl digital als auch als in drei limitieren Vinyl-Farben („2000 in opaque sunburst, 1,550 in clear with green/purple/black smoke, 500 pieces exclusive to Zia in summer sky wave“).
Brody Dalle dazu:
“This record is kind of the equivalent of someone reading my teenage diary, except worse. Figuring out who I was as a songwriter, but with everyone watching and listening! All of my contemporary (at the time) influences for everyone to hear. The write up in the ‘Village Voice’ changed my life and I am forever grateful for it. If I hadn’t read such a scathing, hilarious and on point review (even though it stung really bad) I wouldn’t be the lyric writer I am today. Kim’s BADASS bass playing is still a highlight for me, and thanks to Matt Young as well for his enthusiasm and cool fast AF skin beats. The feedback at the end of blackest years I did by total accident.... I love this record so much, warts and all.”
Knuckle Puck werden am 18. September ihr neues Album "20/20" via Rise Records veröffentlichen. Passen dazu kündigt das Quintett nun eine Release Show via Stream in Kooperation mit Audiotree an. Tickets sind unter audiotree.tv verfügbar.
