Strike Anywhere sind wieder da

Nach 10-jähriger Pause melden sich Strike Anywhere überraschend mit einer Doppel-Single zurück: „Dress The Wounds“ und „Imperium Of Waste“. Die zwei Songs läuten den Countdown ein zur Veröffentlichung einer neuen 7-Track EP namens "Nightmares of the West", welche am 17. Juli 2020 via Pure Noise Records erscheinen wird.

Fake Names – s/t (Epitaph)

Fake Names wurden im Vorfeld ihrer ersten Album-Veröffentlichung von Plattenfirma und PR bereits massiv als Punkrock-Supergroup beworben – was angesichts des LineUps aber auch gar nicht so wahnsinnig übertrieben ist. Immerhin haben sich hier Brian Baker (Minor Threat, Dag Nasty, Bad Religion), Michael Hampton (S.O.A., Embrace, One Last Wish), Dennis Lyxzén (Refused, International Noise Conspiracy, INVSN) und Johnny Temple (Girls Against Boys, Soulside) zusammen getan; zunächst nur just for fun, und dann wurde doch gleiche eine Platte daraus.

The Ghost Inside: "Pressure Point“

The Ghost Inside kündigten kürzlich ein neues Studioalbum für den 5. Juni via Epitaph an. Nach "Aftermath"  folgt mit "Pressure Point“ nun ein weiterer Track samt Lyric-Video.

Bassist Jim Riley kommentiert den Song:

“Almost all TGI songs take the listener on a journey from dark to light or from despair to hope. On this record we made a conscious effort to let individual songs explore different emotions we’ve been experiencing and not force them to have a positive turn. We feel like the album as a whole will give you that hopeful feeling, even though a song like ‘Pressure Point; might not do that by itself. Instead we embraced being pissed off and let it pour out through some of the most aggressive and pointed lyrics we’ve ever had. We try to avoid cursing in our songs but sometimes you’re just so fed up that nothing less than a big loud fuck will get the job done.“

Bevor Western Addiction am Freitag ihr neues Album "Frail Bray" auf Fat Wreck veröffentlichen, präsentiert die Band noch ein weiteres neues Video, diesmal zu dem Song "They Burned Our Paintings".

Puscifer sind zurück! Mit dem aktuellen Clip zur neuen Single „Apocalyptical“ veröffentlicht die Band um Frontmann Maynard James Keenan die erste neue Musik seit 2015.

The Interrupters: Live-Video zu “Easy On You”

The Interrupters haben ein Live-Video zu “Easy On You” online gestellt und schrieben dazu:

„We captured this live version of "Easy On You" in one take at Ship-Rec Studios around the same time we recorded our cover of "Bad Guy". This is the first song that Aimee and Kevin ever wrote together.”
